Service providers can now deploy Grandstream’s robust GXP1600 series of Small Business IP Phones with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks Platform and SIP services
Boston, MA (June 25, 2015) – Grandstream Networks, today announced interoperability of Grandstream’s GXP1600 series of Small Business IP phones, consisting of four models, with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® platform and other SIPbased services. This announcement gives BroadSoft customers a new set of powerful IP phones from Grandstream that can seamlessly leverage the BroadWorks platform and other SIP services from BroadSoft.
The GXP1600 series, consisting of the GXP1610, GXP1620, GXP1625 and GXP1628, showcase a new hardware design, improved appearance and build quality, larger graphic LCD display and enhanced acoustic performance. These robust IP phones are extremely easy to use yet include a collection of powerful telephony features – making them ideal for small business users. Each phone has 3 XML programmable soft keys, 3-way conferencing, Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics headsets, support for 20 languages, full-duplex speakerphones with advanced acoustic echo cancellation, dedicated buttons for intercom/paging and call recording and a large phonebook with up to 500 contacts and call history with up to 200 records. The GXP1625 and GXP1628 include built-in Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) while the GXP1628 also features Gigabit ports and 8 BLF/speed dial keys.
BroadWorks is BroadSoft’s flagship applications platform that enables service providers to deliver enhanced multi-media services for businesses and consumers. As a leading Application Server for IP-Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) environments, BroadWorks services are network agnostic, offering carriers expanded service reach, fixed-mobile convergence (FMC), streamlined application integration, and operational cost savings.
