By all reports our IP Sizzles Tuesday night off-site dinner and festivities was a grand success. From the Texas Stadium entrance statue of Coach Tom Landry, to the Stadium Club view, through the locker room tour, the Ring of Honor names, the Hole in the Roof, to the star on the field, it was a night of visual memories. The food was outstanding and our special guest Ida Mae was a real hoot. The vendor vs. the VARs first annual football game was a blast. The fans in the stands and those who remained in the Stadium Club were treated to a fun exhibition of football skills and competitive effort. Not sure of a final score but the VARs claimed victory. It was evident that the VARs needed some cross-over vendor players to fill out their team who contributed to their win. Survival of the fittest players? Actually all survived….some pulled hamstrings, bruised ribs, strained muscles, you get the idea. The good news is the ambulance cart was never needed and the ref did a great job controlling the fervor. The players had a fun time and everyone enjoyed the experience of being on the field. Thousands of pictures were taken as this is one of the last times civilians could say they actually stood on the Dallas Cowboys home turf.
